This is a really simple tip – but it had me stumped until I found the answer so I thought I’d share it here.
I want to read PDF’s that I’ve downloaded or bought online on my iPad the same way that I’d read an eBook with Amazon Kindle or the Apple iBook reader. Simple right? It’s not if you don’t know how to do it. I asked one of my learned iFriends and here’s how he showed me to do it…
- Make sure your iPad is sync’d with iTunes. You need to be using iTunes with your iPad for this to work.
- Drag and drop the PDF’s into the iTunes Library on your computer.
- Ensure that “Sync Book” is ticked in the “Books” tab on iTunes for your iPad.
- Click the “Sync” button on itunes – it’s in the bottom right hand corner. iTunes will sync the PDF’s to your iPad.
- Then on your iPad open up “iBooks” (if you don’t have it already go and download it – it’s free).
- Click “Collections” and select “PDF”.
- Voila!
