If I’m really honest I’d have to say that I don’t really know what the Tall Poppy Group is yet.
I know what I want it to be – But how does one describe across the gap between present reality and future potential?
The best I’ve come up with is this…
Business 2.0 // Tall Poppy Group is a company and a brand that ties together disruptive ideas, businesses and people.
I think that sums it up pretty well.
At its core, the Tall Poppy Group is an idea – An idea that people with creativity and a desire to disrupt are the ones who ultimately drive progress… of cultures, peoples, movements, even nations.
Tall Poppies should stand out, should be noticed, should make a difference. Tall Poppies shouldn’t expect to blend in with the rest, shouldn’t expect to have it easy, shouldn’t expect or settle for normality because they are here to leave things different and better.
When they’re not working on the “world changer” stuff they are learning, hacking, discovering… Simply because that’s what they are wired up to do – Mess stuff up and figure out how to make it better.

As a company and a brand, the Tall Poppy Group is beginning its life as an outlet for my own ideas, and a vehicle for me to help others take theirs to the next level.
In the future… so much more than that. An incubator for ideas, for-profit and non-profit alike, that disrupt the status quo for the better.
I like that.
